Dear [First Name], We are contacting you because our records indicate you are the primary contact or site administrator for [Organization Name], which uses Accounts Receivable 7, Cash Receipts 7, or Student Billing 7. Please share this important credit card information with other software users at your organization. This fall the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) goes into effect. PCI DSS is a set of requirements developed by the major credit card companies to enhance credit card data security. All organizations that process, store, or transmit payment card data must be PCI DSS compliant or risk losing their ability to process credit card payments. How will this affect my organization? To avoid data loss, you can export existing credit card information from your database before you update to version 7.77. We recommend you contact a Qualified Security Assessor for advice on how to secure the exported credit card information in accordance with PCI DSS. How can I learn more?Join us for our web seminar, Credit Card Changes That Impact You, to learn more about how PCI DSS will impact the way your organization handles credit card information. This session will highlight credit card changes being made to our financial and education software. For more information about PCI DSS compliance, including an informational video, please visit our PCI DSS compliance page. General information about PCI DSS, including a PCI DSS self-assessment questionnaire, is available at www.pcisecuritystandards.org. In the coming months, we will provide additional information about how you can become PCI DSS compliant on our PCI Compliance blog and in our newsletters. We encourage you to subscribe and participate:
Sincerely,
