Marc Chardon, President and Chief Executive Officer
Marc Chardon joined Blackbaud as president and chief executive officer in November 2005. Previously, he served as chief financial officer for the $11 billion Information Worker business group at Microsoft, where he was responsible for the core functions of long-term strategic financial planning and business performance management. Chardon joined Microsoft in August 1998 as general manager of Microsoft France. During his three-year leadership, the subsidiary remained one of the three most admired companies by French professionals and achieved increased customer satisfaction. Prior to joining Microsoft, Chardon was general manager of Digital France. He joined Digital in 1984, and held a variety of international marketing and business roles within the company. In 1994, Chardon was named director, office of the president, with responsibility for Digital's corporate strategy development. He is an American/French dual national and an economics honors graduate from Harvard University.

Timothy Williams, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration
Timothy Williams has served as Blackbaud’s chief financial officer since January 2001. Williams is responsible for Blackbaud’s financial reporting and controls, as well as human resources, and legal and administrative services. From January 1994 to January 2001 he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Mynd, Inc. (now Computer Sciences Corporation), a provider of software and services to the insurance industry. Prior to that, he worked at Holiday Inn Worldwide, most recently as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Williams holds a BA from the University of Northern Iowa.

Charlie Cumbaa, Senior Vice President, Products and Services
Charlie Cumbaa joined Blackbaud in May 2001. Cumbaa previously served as an executive vice president with Intertech Information Management from December 1998 until October 2000. From 1992 until 1998 he was president and chief executive officer of Cognitech, Inc., a software company he founded. Prior to that, he was employed by McKinsey & Company. Cumbaa holds a BA from Mississippi State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Lou Attanasi, Senior Vice President, Products
Lou Attanasi is senior vice president of products, responsible for product development, product strategy, and product management. He joined Blackbaud in 1986, and in 1988, began managing research and development efforts. Before joining Blackbaud, he taught mathematics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and worked as a programming engineer at Environmental Energy Corporation. Attanasi holds a BS in mathematics from State University of New York at Stony Brook and a MS in mathematics from the University of Charleston.

Jerry Zink, Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Satisfaction Officer, Customer Support
Jerry Zink has served as Blackbaud’s senior vice president of customer support since June 1996. He joined the company in November 1987 and served as a customer support analyst and manager of customer support before assuming his current position. Prior to joining Blackbaud, Zink was employed as a computer consultant by the Diocese of Rockville Center in New York.

John Mistretta, Senior Vice President of Human Resources
As the senior vice president of human resources, John Mistretta is responsible for leadership development and talent management at Blackbaud. A seasoned business executive, Mistretta has led human resource and training organizations throughout his 25-year career. Most recently, he was executive vice president of human resources and alternative businesses for the National Commerce Financial Corporation (now SunTrust). Previously, he spent 14 years at Citicorp, which at the time of his tenure was recognized as one of the leading human resource organizations in the world. Mistretta has been active with numerous nonprofits and community groups, including the Durham (North Carolina) Technical Community College Foundation and the Durham Workforce Development Board. He earned a bachelor's degree and a master’s degree from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Heidi Strenck, Senior Vice President and Controller
Heidi Strenck has served as Blackbaud’s senior vice president and corporate controller since October 2002. She joined the company in September 1996, serving in key management roles in the finance division. Prior to joining Blackbaud, she served as a senior associate with Coopers & Lybrand and as internal auditor for The Raymond Corporation. Strenck serves on the board of directors of the Trident Area Salvation Army. She holds a BA in management/accounting from Hartwick College.

Lee Gartley, President, Target Analytics and Target Software
Lee Gartley is the president of Target Analytics and Target Software and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of both of the Blackbaud companies. Since joining Target in 1998, Gartley has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the companies by driving the development and launch of a number of innovative products and services, including the creation of the Nonprofit Cooperative Database — the industry's largest database of philanthropic giving. From 1996 to 1998, he was a senior marketer with Art Technology Group where he helped to launch an online commerce platform. From 1992 to 1996, he was a management consultant with Boston Consulting Group working with clients in a variety of industries to develop and implement sound strategies. A common theme across all of these endeavors has been an interest in how technology and tools can help organizations use targeted marketing to achieve their goals. Gartley holds a BA in physics from Bowdoin College and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Richard LaBarbera, Senior Vice President, Blackbaud; Chief Executive Officer, Kintera
Richard LaBarbera is a senior vice president at Blackbaud and is the chief executive officer of Kintera where he is responsible for the strategy and execution of business operations at this Blackbaud company. Kintera provides an integrated, on-demand open platform to help organizations quickly and easily reach more people, raise more money, and run more efficiently. LaBarbera joined Kintera from Echopass Corporation, a leading provider of integrated CRM software as a service and advanced call center solutions. A high tech industry veteran with more than 30 years of operating experience, LaBarbera has worked with such leading software providers as Sybase, Siemens/Nixdorf, Storage Technology and IBM. He received an MBA from Georgia State University.

Charles L. Longfield, Chief Scientist
Chuck Longfield became Blackbaud’s chief scientist in January 2007 and is the founder of Target Software, Inc. and Target Analysis Group, Inc., both now Blackbaud companies. Longfield has extensive experience designing and implementing national as well as international constituency databases that address the fundraising information needs at many of the world’s largest nonprofit organizations. Prior to founding the Target companies in 1992, Longfield taught math to middle and high school students. He was honored by FundRaising Success in 2007 with a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to the nonprofit sector. He holds a BA in mathematics and a MEd from Harvard University and has more than 25 years of experience helping nonprofits automate their fundraising operations.

Jay B. Love, President and Chief Executive Officer, eTapestry
Jay B. Love is the president and chief executive officer of eTapestry and is responsible for the day to day operations of this Blackbaud Company. eTapestry serves over 4,500 nonprofits daily with their database/communication application services. eTapestry has the largest installed base of Software as a Service clients in the nonprofit sector. Prior to founding eTapestry, Love served 14 years as president and chief executive officer of Master Software Corporation, which provided a widely used family of database products for the nonprofit sector call Fund-Master. When Master Software merged with Blackbaud in 1997, he served as a vice president for Blackbaud. During his 23 years in the sector, Jay has been responsible for the implementation of over 10,000 nonprofit database systems all over the world. Prior to Master Software, Jay held management positions with Wang and Data General. He is a graduate of Butler University with a BS in business administration.
