Scholarship Information

Want to attend Blackbaud's 2009 Conference for Nonprofits in Ottawa, but don’t have the budget?
 
Blackbaud will award scholarships to five lucky nonprofit professionals who best summarize the reasons they feel qualified to attend the Conference! Each scholarship will include a complimentary registration to the Conference and supporting events including meals, local transportation, and evening events. Winners will be notified by March 12, 2009.

Nonprofit professionals interested in applying for the scholarship should complete the following before March 6, 2009:
  • Submit a written application with complete contact information, along with your organization's name and a summary of its mission statement. (Applications can be sent as Word documents or directly in the text of an email.)
  • Write in less than 500 words why you should receive one of the scholarships and how you would benefit from attending this educational Conference.

Conditions of Award: Scholarships are used exclusively for registration fees to Blackbaud's 2009 Conference for Nonprofits, are non-transferable, and have no cash or exchange value. The recipient is responsible for all travel, lodging, and personal expenses and agrees to allow Blackbaud or another company affiliated with the scholarship to use recipient's name in promotional materials. Blackbaud's receipt of application signifies acceptance of the conditions.
