The performance of the Gift Detail
and Summary Report has been enhanced to more quickly provide details about
constituent giving during a specific time period. The exact data included
depends on your parameter tab settings. For more

If you integrate Blackbaud
NetCommunity with The Raiser’s Edge 7.83,
the performance and appearance of the Online vs. Offline Giving
Report have been enhanced to better provide a comparison between gifts
received through your Blackbaud NetCommunity website
and those received through other means. The exact data included depends on
your parameter tab settings. For more information, see the Reports
Guide.
Export
Query

The general performance
of Query has been enhanced so you can more quickly select, group, and
list records that meet a set of conditions you define. For information about Query,
see the Query
and Export Guide.
The Education
Edge Integration

If you integrate
with The Education Edge, you can now delete an address for a
non-constituent in The Raiser's Edge when the
non-constituent has multiple addresses. However, you cannot delete the
preferred address for the non-constituent.
Help
Links
You can now use new
help links in multiple areas of The Raiser's Edge 7.83 to easily access pertinent content directly in the help
file. These help links provide answers to several commonly asked
questions. To access the help file from any screen, you can also press
F1 on your keyboard.

In Export, you
can use new help links to determine how to export the same field multiple times
with separate parameters and the difference between simple and conditional mail
merges.

In Configuration,
you can use new help links to determine the different attribute data types
and how to use the Table Cleanup utility. If you integrate The Raiser's
Edge with The Financial Edge,
you can also use a new help link to understand how to use General Ledger
to interface with the two programs.

In Reports, you can use a new help link to understand the
different options on the Gift Types tab.

In Mail, you
can use new help links to determine the difference between simple and
conditional mail merges and how to correct the format of an addressee or a
salutation. You can also use a new help link to understand the different
options on the Gift Types tab. When you generate pledge reminders, you can use
new help links to understand the Run Date field
and whether to create reminders per pledge or installment. When
you generate donor acknowledgement letters, you can use a new help link to
understand how to ensure acknowledgements generate for all gifts.

can use a new help link to determine which gift types are automatically
included when you filter on Summary information.

can use a new help link to determine how to best import constituent name,
address, and telephone number information.
