ResearchPoint
Integration
-
Users of the standalone
version of ResearchPoint
(not integrated with Blackbaud’s Constituent Record
Management system) and The Raiser’s
Edge 7.84 or higher can integrate the two applications
and simplify constituent management duties between the two application
databases.
-
The integration feature
located in ResearchPoint
links records included in both databases and synchronizes
the information included on both records.
-
You can also open
Raiser’s
Edge records from
ResearchPoint and ResearchPoint
records from The Raiser’s
Edge. For more information, see the Prospect Data Entry Guide.
Planned Gift Tracking
-
With
the optional module PlannedGiftTracker, in addition to cash
gifts, you can now apply payments with a gift type of Stock/Property,
Gift-in-Kind, or Other to your planned gifts. To apply a gift to a
planned gift from the planned gift record, select Gift, Add Revenue
Realized from Planned Gift from the menu bar.
-
On the
planned gift record, the new Realized Revenue tab displays all payments
applied to the planned gift. At the bottom of the tab, the Total
Realized field displays the sum of the revenue amounts associated
with the planned gift. For more information about
PlannedGiftTracker, see the Planned Gift Tracking Guide.
Reports
-
With
the optional module PlannedGiftTracker, you can now include the
Total Realized column in the Planned Gifts Report. This column
displays the sum of the revenue amounts received and applied to each
planned gift. For more information about the Planned Gifts Report, see
the Reports Guide.
eReceipts
-
You
can now configure The Raiser’s Edge to send gift receipts
by email without having NetSolutions or Blackbaud
NetCommunity installed. In Mail, you can use the
eReceipts tab to create a Microsoft Word merge template to use
for the PDF file you send as an email to your clients. For more
information, see the Mail Guide.
