From the
Relationships tab of a constituent record, you can now track the appeal
a solicitor uses to secure a donation from the constituent. To update a
solicitor assignment with the appeal, select the solicitor on the
constituent’s Relationships tab and click Open on the action bar.
On the Assigned Solicitor screen, enter the appeal in the new
Appeal field. For more information, see the Constituent Data Entry Guide.

From a
solicitor’s constituent record, you can also track the appeal the
solicitor uses to secure a donation from a constituent. To update a
solicitor assignment from the solicitor’s constituent record, click
Details next to the Is a solicitor checkbox. On the
Solicitor Information screen, select the constituent assignment on the
Assignments tab and click Open on the action bar. On the Assigned
Solicitor screen, enter the appeal in the new Appeal field. For

When you
designate goals for your solicitors, you can now assign a solicitor to
goals for appeals in addition to campaigns, funds, or unspecified
categories. For more information, see the Constituent Data Entry Guide.

When you
view the team captain assignments of a solicitor, you can now view the
assignments to appeal goals in addition to goals for campaigns and
funds. For more information, see the Constituent Data Entry Guide.

On an appeal
record, you can use the new Solicitors tab to assign solicitors and
solicitor teams to the appeal. On the Solicitors tab, you can also copy
solicitor assignments from campaigns, fund, or other appeals and assign
goals for the assigned solicitors. For more information, see the Campaigns, Funds, and Appeals Data Entry
Guide.

When you
assign solicitors to campaigns or funds, you can now copy solicitor
assignments from appeals as well as other campaigns or funds. On the
Solicitors tab of the campaign or fund record, click Copy From
and search for the appeal from which to copy solicitor assignments. For

Guide.
Query and Export
- A new Assigned Solicitor/Team node exists in
Query and includes fields such as Assigned Solicitor Name and
Assigned Team Name. Also, a new Constituent Solicitor Information node
exists for constituent queries and includes appeal fields. For
more information, see the New Features chapter of the 7.85 Update Guide.
- In Export, a new Appeal field exists in
the Solicitor Goals node. For more information, see the New
Features chapter of the 7.85 Update Guide.
- If you integrate with The Patron Edge,
The Patron Edge node now appears in Query and
Export in The Raiser’s Edge. Use the fields in this
node, such as Group Leader and Patron’s Relationship to Group
Leader, to query and export data from The Patron Edge.

- To help manage and organize your queries, you can now
create directories, or categories, to group your queries, such as by
user or by the query’s intended use. To create and organize query
categories, select Organize Categories from the menu bar of the
Query page. On the Organize Categories screen, you can create, rename,
and delete query categories. You can also adjust the order in which they
appear on the Query page. For more information, see the Query & Export Guide.
Reports
- In Solicitor Comparison, Solicitor Goal Analysis, and
Solicitor Performance Summary you can now filter solicitors based on
Appeal Goal.
Batch
- In Batch, you can now add solicitor goals for an
appeal in a constituent batch. When you create the constituent batch,
add the Appeal field under the Solicitors Goals node. For
more information, see the New Features chapter of the 7.85 Update Guide.
Administration
- In Administration, you can now assign security
rights for users to view, add, edit, and delete solicitor hierarchies on
appeal records. For more information, see the Configuration and Security Guide.
Configuration
- In Configuration, you can now make attributes
that your organization no longer uses inactive. When you make an
attribute inactive, it no longer appears as a selection on records of
the attribute type. On the Attributes page, mark the checkbox in the new
Active column for each attribute to appear as available in
Records. If you do not mark this checkbox, the attribute is

NetSolutions
- Multiple users can access different areas of
NetSolutions simultaneously. For more information about working
