During our classes, we provide opportunities for you to exchange ideas and gain insight from your peers, many of whom face similar challenges. Exchange Ideas and Network with Peers
Blackbaud University provides you with the opportunity to exchange ideas with other Blackbaud software users. You will learn alongside your peers who are facing the same challenges you are. Hearing how others are using their Blackbaud products, or planning to use them, is a valuable benefit of the learning process. Just listening to questions being asked by fellow users pays immense dividends.

User-Friendly Training Format
All of our educational consultants present course material in an easy-to-understand fashion. Courses have been designed with hands-on lab exercises, allowing you to practice as you learn.

You will also receive course materials filled with examples, lab exercises, and plenty of room for notes and answers to questions asked in class. This material is yours to keep for future reference.

Instructor-Led
Delivered via the Internet, our instructor-led online training is like being in a virtual classroom. It features live interaction between you, other students across the country, and a trained Blackbaud Educational Consultant. After logging into the training, you will see a list of participants and a class agenda. The instructor will lead you through a series of instructional slides and will use other tools such as whiteboards, surveys, and web safaris to instruct you on the selected topic.

To participate, all you need is a web browser, a PC headset, and a few hours to get information you can put to use immediately! Classes generally last two to five hours and cover a range of supplemental material, including module- and task-specific functionality.

* Unless otherwise noted, all classes are taught based on the latest release of the software and require access to the sample database to complete practice exercises.

Live Application Sharing
Online training also features live application sharing. This means instructors can launch a program such as The Raiser's Edge on their computers while you view the program at your location. The instructor can also turn control of the application over to class participants. This allows you to use a program in the training even if it is not installed on your computer!
