Morning Keynote Session, and Discussion Topics

Keynote Session: Adrian Sargeant, Robert F. Hartsook Professor of Fundraising, Indiana University, will present findings from the 2011 Growing Philanthropy Summit, a think tank that took place in June where nonprofit leaders discussed how to increase philanthropic giving by enhancing the donor experience.

Morning Discussion Workshops: After the keynote speech and the morning presentations, attendees will participate in roundtable discussions covering these four themes.

Afternoon Sessions: The two afternoon sessions will focus on philanthropy and charitable giving from the donors’ and supporters’ perspective. Nonprofit executives will share actionable tactics from the four strategies and the innovative approaches they’ve taken to make a genuine and tangible difference in giving.

Morning General Sessions

Morning General Sessions: Marc Chardon, President and CEO, Blackbaud, will set the stage for the morning sessions. Continuing the discussions from the previous day, presenters will explore how to make strategies actionable by examining each step of the supporter journey and the tools that can help manage the constituent experience.

The Nonprofit Executive Summit is an invitation-only, three-day event offered free of charge, including up to two nights of hotel accommodations, plus activities, luncheons, and dinners. Travel is not included.

We selected The Hay-Adams because of its close proximity to the Farragut West (.2 mi) and McPherson Square (.5 mi) metro stations. Overnight parking at the hotel is $42.00 plus tax. Please consider these factors when planning your travel.
