Will single sign-on affect the integration between ResearchPoint and Raiser's Edge?

No. We did not make any changes to how you set up and integrate the two products.

However, if you add new application users, those new application users will need to enter their Raiser's Edge database view credentials.

An example of when you may need to do this, is if you previously had one ResearchPoint login that everyone shared at your organization. When your Prospect Research Manager links the login credentials to his or her Blackbaud single sign-on account, and invites the rest of your users as new application users, each application user will need to set up this quick Raiser's Edge configuration step.

  1. In ResearchPoint, you can access the integration configuration settings from two locations. From the Home page, on the task bar under Configuration, click Raiser's Edge integration.

    If you are on the Prospects page, under Configuration, click Raiser’s Edge integration.

    The Raiser’s Edge Integration page appears.

  2. Click Edit credentials.

  3. Enter your Raiser’s Edge login information.

  4. To confirm the credentials are correct and can work for the integration, click Test credentials.

  5. Click Save. You return to the Raiser’s Edge Integration page.
