Sponsorship Form

Use the Sponsorship Form part to design the form that appears on a web page when a sponsor selects an opportunity from the search results.

Note: The search results within greatest need groupings are random.

The form includes several features. You can use the HTML editor to design a section that contains additional information about the opportunity such as a picture or biographical information. You can also define the payment options available when website users purchase a sponsorship. For example, you can allow users to purchase sole sponsorships or sponsorships as gifts for others. You can also define the schedules available for sponsorship payments.

After sponsors complete the basic payment information, they click a link that takes them to a page that contains a shopping cart where they make the final payment transaction for the sponsorship. An email acknowledgement is sent to the sponsor when the payment transaction is complete.

When a user submits a sponsorship on your website, the data defaults directly on the constituent record. You do not need to process data in Blackbaud CRM for this part.

After users purchase a sponsorship, they can access a page that contains a Sponsorship Status part to view information about their current sponsorships. For more information about this part, see Sponsorship Status.
