Create a Business Intelligence Project

1. Ensure Visual Studio is installed with support for Business Intelligence projects.

   Note: For information about the version of Visual Studio to use, see Visual Studio Versions for Custom Packages.

2. From File, click New > Project. The New Project screen appears.

   

3. Under Project types, highlight Business Intelligence Projects.

4. Under Templates, select Integration Services Project.

5. Enter desired name and location information for the project and solution.

6. Click OK. The new project appears.
