Redirect Settings

To ease authentication after you enable single sign-on (SSO), you can provide users at your organization with a redirect URL to bypass the Blackbaud ID sign-in page and sign in directly through your identity provider (IdP). For SAML 2.0 or Okta connections, you can also create one additional redirect URL to ease access to a Blackbaud ID-supported solution.

  1. In Admin, select Authentication.

  2. Under Single sign-on, select Manage SSO settings.

  3. Under Redirect URL, select Copy next to the URL.

  4. Paste the URL into your email or other message, and send to users at your organization.

If you use SAML 2.0 or Okta for SSO, you can create an additional redirect URL to ease access to a Blackbaud ID-supported solution from your IdP. You can edit this redirect as necessary to open a different Blackbaud solution or resource.

  1. In Admin, select Authentication.

  2. Under Single sign-on, select Manage SSO settings.

  3. Under Redirect URLs, select Edit.

  4. Enter the redirect URL for Blackbaud ID-supported domain, such as:

    • bbk12.com

    • blackbaud.ca, .co.uk, .com, .com.au, .net

    • blackbaudhosting.com

    • blackbaudoutcomes.com

    • etapestry.com

    • myschoolapp.com

    • smarttuition.com

  5. Select Save.

Tip: If you sign in through an Okta IdP, use this redirect URL to create a bookmark app to ease access to a Blackbaud solution from your Okta dashboard. For more information, see Okta Bookmarks.
