Batch Configuration

In Batch entry, before you create and manage batches, we recommend you work with the following batch configuration tasks to ensure a consistent environment for your batch processes:

• Configure a batch numbering scheme to determine how the program generates numbers to identify a batch.

• Configure a batch workflow to determine the states the batch must complete before its records can commit to the database.

• Configure a batch template to define basic information about the batch, such as fields included in the batch and default values for the fields.
