Edit Saved Searches

You can modify your searches whenever you want to ensure that you're receiving the most relevant posts about a topic. Perhaps you've seen a new hashtag within the past few days, or a certain trend is growing in popularity. All you have to do is edit the terms that are being used by your search.

Editing a search will immediately affect the list of posts going forward. This means that when you look at your historical posts, you'll see the a mixture of posts that match the previous search terms, as well as posts that match the new search terms. This may be especially confusing if you remove a term from the search, because you will still see posts that contain that term in your historical data.

Tip: If you plan on making significant changes to a search term, it's recommended to create a new search term and archive the old one.

To Edit a Search:

  1. Select a Search from the Searches tab.

  2. Click Settings in the upper right. The drop down displays the parameters that this search is searching for.

  3. Click Edit to modify the search.

  4. Under Search term, add or remove search terms as you'd like, following the examples of what to use and what not to use.

  5. Click Save Changes.
