Faculty and Staff Directory

The Faculty and Staff Directory pulls faculty and staff members into an easy to navigate directory. The information that displays here, such as photo, bio, education, e-mail address, etc., pulls from the faculty member’s user profile. Please note that this is a Podium content type.

To edit the display options, edit the channel options.

These options will determine how users browse for faculty members.

Criteria Selectors

  • Grade Levels: Use this to enable users to browse for faculty based on the grade levels that they are associated with.

  • Last Name: Use this to enable users to browse for users based on their last name.

  • Department:Use this to enable users to browse for users by department.

Department Type

  • All: Use this to enable users to search for faculty associated with either academic or non-academic departments.

  • Academic: Use this to limit users to only search for faculty associated with academic departments. 

  • Non-Academic: Use this to limit users to only search for staff associated with non-academic departments. 

Grade Levels: Use this to enable users to browse for faculty by their grade level association.

School Levels: Use this to enable users to browse for faculty with a particular school level association.

Display Labels: Use this to show labels for each field next to the information, ex: Department, Year Appointed, Bio.

Display Name: Choose additional name information to display. The user's first and last name will display by default.

Display School Levels: Use this to show the user's school level association.

Other Information: Use this to show additional information about the user. These fields are all managed in the User Profile.
