Login settings and history

Find this page by selecting your name from the top right corner of any user interface within Education management. Then select Settings and Login settings.

Use it to view the:

  • username (email address) associated with your Blackbaud ID account

  • your login history. It includes the date, time, and recent IP addresses. To do so, select View login history under History.

    • You can use this information to review activity any time you receive an alert that indicates you have concurrent user sessions. For example, you're already logged in and active in another browser or another device.

    • Review recent authentications to check for unauthorized activity. If you determine an IP address or login entry is suspicious, immediately change your password and then investigate further.

Platform managers can customize an on-screen message that appears at the top of the Login settings. page. See Custom text and messages .

Platform managers can decide which page users land on upon login, based on their personas. See Default starting pages for instructions.

Platform managers can also enable users to select their own start page and persona (if a user has more than one). If you have access to configure your default starts, do this from your Login settings.

  1. Under History, select which persona you would to use as your default when you start after signing in.

  2. For each persona, under Starting page(s), select which page you'd like to see first when you sign in.

  3. The next time you log in, you'll land on the selected persona and start page.
