Use the Inquiry software to create customizable forms to collect online inquiries and candidate information.

In this training you will learn how to:

  • Build inquiry forms.

  • Manage online inquiries.

  • Create inquiries.

Who should attend: admissions managers, Page managers, and Platform managers.

Initial Settings

  • Platform managers must establish the current admissions year; this is crucial for reporting and comparing year-to-year admission statistics.

  • To use the "Entering Year" field on the inquiry form, Platform managers must create/edit the yearsthat will appear in the dropdown list and select "Allow as Inquiry/Admission Reporting Year."

  • To use the "Present School" field on the inquiry form, Platform managers must create the list of schoolsthat will appear in the dropdown list. The alternative is to use the "Present School Text" field, which allows prospective families to manually enter their current school.

  • Data managers have the ability to import all schools desired to appear as “Present School” options within the inquiry form. The process of using all data imports is described here.

  • To use the "Current Grade" field on the inquiry form, admissions managers must create the list of grades that will appear in the dropdown list. Alternatively, Inquiry managers can include the field “Current Grade Text” for prospective families to enter manually.

  • To use the "How did you hear" field on the inquiry form, admissions managers must create the list of referral typesthat will appear in a dropdown list. Alternatively, Inquiry managers can include the “How hear text” field for prospective families to manually enter how they heard about the school.

If a current family has referred a prospective family, there is the “Referred by family” field available to use along with “Name of family” and “Additional referral notes” fields that live within the “Referred By” block.

  • Admission managers can create a list of sources to track methods of prospective families inquiring to the school (Phone, Walk In, Open House, etc.).

  • To include options for a prospective student’s interests on the inquiry form, admissions managers mustcreate the list of available interests.
