Manage Checklist Items

Admissions managers and staff can mark steps as "Awaiting," "Requested," "Waived", "Scheduled", "Started" or "Completed" on a candidate's checklist or via the record. It is important to mark steps as "Completed" so the candidate can move through the checklist milestones. If a staff member determines that a non-required checklist step does not need to be completed, they can mark the step as "Waived." (Please Note: Steps marked as Required cannot be waived). 

Prospective families can view which of their checklist steps have been marked as "Completed" on their admissions progress page.

To manage checklist steps for a candidate:

  1. Go to the Checklist tab in the candidate's admissions profile .

  2. Select Awaiting, Requested, Waived, Scheduled, Started, or  Completedfor the appropriate checklist item.

  3. If necessary, update the Duedate or the Completeddate.

  4. If necessary, enter notesfor the checklist item by selecting the yellow paper icon to the left of the step.
