Personnel Types

Group managers use personnel types to establish types of leader for each of the group capabilities (academics, activity, athletic, community, dorm, and advisory).

For example, you may want a personnel type for people who lead religious activities and another for people who lead community service activities.

  1. Select Core.

  2. Select Users.

  3. Select User profile settings.

  4. Select Personnel types.

  5. To filter the list of existing types by group capability, select a Type (right side).

  6. To create a new personnel type, select Add type.

    Note: You don't need to create a "head" leader (head teacher, head coach, etc) here. You'll determine "head" when an leader is added to a group later.

  7. Enter a descriptive name for the personnel type.

  8. Select a Type of group capability for the personnel.

  9. Select Save or Save and add another.

  3. Select User profile settings.

  4. Select Personnel types.

  5. On the Personnel type row, select the name to Edit it.

  6. Enter a new name.

  2. Select Users.

  3. Select User profile settings.

  4. Select Personnel types.

  5. On the Personnel type row, select Delete.

  6. Confirm the change.

  1. Select Core.

  2. Select Users.

  3. Select User profile settings.

  4. Select Personnel types.

  5. Select a column header. Then choose ascending or descending.
