Award Types

Award types are general categories of awards that the school gives students. Award types are not specific to any term or year. To access create and edit award types:

  1. From the persona menu, select Academics.

  2. Select Grades, then Grading Setup.

  3. Select Awards.

Once you have created award types, you can grant them to students (see Grant Awards ) and add them to student transcripts (see Display Awards on Transcript ).

  1. On the Awards tab, select + Add Award.

  2. Select a Group Type and enter an Award Title.

  3. Optional: Enter a Description.

  4. Choose Save & Close or Save & Add Another.

Find an existing award type using the Group Type filter options and search bar on the right side of the Awards tab.

Select the pencil icon to edit the details on an Award Type. If an Award Type has not been granted to any students yet, you can use the trash can icon to delete it. If an Award Type has been granted to at least one student, you will see a padlock icon meaning that it cannot be deleted.
