Grant Access to Transcripts

To publish transcripts to constituents, a Platform Manager must grant access at the role level in addition to publishing sections of the transcript to all.

Note: This help topic is for schools using the old transcript builder. The new transcript builder allows users to enable access for multiple Report Card or Transcript templates at once. For more information, see Add Access for Multiple Templates.

To grant access to transcripts:

  1. Select Core.

  2. Select Security.

  3. Select Roles.

  4. Find the role in the list.

  5. Select the ellipsis (...) at the start of the row.

  6. Select Manage role.

  7. Select Tasks.

  8. Find View Transcripts and select Edit.

    Tip: Many schools have this task enabled for an existing role such as Grading Manager. If you would like to enable the View Transcripts task for another role, you may need to clone the Grading Manager role. To read more about cloning roles, see the help topic Clone Roles (Old Version) .

  9. Mark the task Active. You can choose to make the task active on Desktop, on the App, or both.

  10. Select Save & Exit.
