Manage Event Registration Forms

There are two types of registration forms you can create with the Event Registration software: "Sign-up Only" and "Registration with Items." When you create a form, you will be able to establish the type.

  • A Sign-up only registration is useful if you only want a basic headcount for an event. There is no payment option for a sign-up only registration, so do not use this type of form if you need to collect a fee for the event. You can, however, collect the names and number of attendees. For a more complex registration, use the Registration with items form instead.

  • A Registration with items has a several additional features compared to the Sign-up only registration. Use a Registration with Items when you want users to select specific items to sign up for (for example, if you have an alum reunion weekend and want alums to sign up for particular events throughout the weekend, such as dinners or dances). Using a Registration with Items form also allows you to collect payment for the event. Creating new registration forms can be found here.
