Users and Invitations
Use the tabs on the Security page to efficiently manage your web view users. All of your database view users appear in the Financial Edge account column of the user grid. You must register these database view users in order for them to become active users in the web view. You do not assign database view users to security groups from the web view. All database view users will remain in the security group to which they have always belonged.
To get users started in the Financial Edge NXT, simply send them an invitation. From Security, you can easily invite the database view users to the new web view. You can also cancel or resend invitations as necessary.
From Security, you can invite users to use the web view.
To invite a user of the database view to use the web view, mark the checkbox next to their name on the Users or Need invitation tab, select Send invitation, and then enter their email address and click Send invitation. After the user receives the invitation, they appear on the Awaiting response tab.
Tip: Keep in mind, if you want to send or cancel multiple invitations at once, mark the checkboxes next to the names and select Send invitations or Cancel invitations. You can also mark the checkbox at the top of the list to select all users in the list at one time.
To send a duplicate invitation, such as if email delivery fails or the user can't find the original invitation, select next to the user's name on the Users or Awaiting response tab, select Send another invitation, edit the email address if necessary, and then click Send invitation.

To cancel an invitation, such as if you inadvertently send one to the wrong email address or user, mark the checkbox next to the name of the invited user on the Users or Awaiting response tab, select Cancel invitation, and then click Cancel invitations.
To unlink or disconnect a Blackbaud account from a Financial Edge account, such as if you mistakenly link incorrect accounts, click by the name of the active user on the Users or Registered tab, select Disconnect accounts, and then click Disconnect accounts. When you disconnect accounts, the Blackbaud account can no longer access data available to the Financial Edge account, and the user's status changes to "Not yet invited."
