The Vendors list in Payables is the central location for all your vendor tasks. From this page, you can access all your existing vendors, and add new vendors. You can use the menu next to each vendor in the list to quickly view or edit the vendor.
The Vendors list displays all the vendors you have in the system. You can reorder the columns in the vendor list by dragging and dropping the column headers. To change the column headers, click Choose columns, select what to include, and click Apply changes. To open a quick view of the vendor without leaving the list, you can simply select the record name directly from the list, instead of using the context menu. This quick view of the record opens on the right side of the screen.
Tip: The total number of vendor records appears above the list. If you have multiple pages of vendors, use the page navigation that appears at the bottom of the list. This way you can easily move from page to page.
To get directions to or familiarize yourself with the vendor's location, you can select the address link to view it in Google Maps.
To quickly locate the vendor you want, use the search or filter the list.
To open the record of a specific vendor, enter the vendor ID or name in the search field and select it in the results.
Tip: If you don't know the exact name, you can enter a partial name. If a vendor has a space in the name, like John Van Der Brock, search by comma-first name (i.e., Van Der Brock, John).
To view only vendors that share specific criteria such as balance due, last invoice date, or location, filter the list. From the Filter list, select the criteria of the vendors to work with, and click Apply filters. For information about these filters, see Vendor Filters.
To export the vendors list to an Excel .XLSX file, select Export to Excel.
