In upcoming releases of Financial Edge NXT, we will continue to improve and enhance existing functionality, as well as provide many new features. While we can't say definitively when these features and enhancement will be ready for release, we do want to share the areas in which we are currently working:
In an upcoming release, we will introduce statistical units. Statistical units help you allocate amounts based on units and determine when and how to move amounts over time. The first building block to managing allocations in Financial Edge NXT is to work with statistical units. This feature lays the groundwork to expand from a purely financial transaction-based approach to a managerial system with stronger analysis capabilities.
The ability to design your own metrics and build a personalized dashboard is currently available for a limited group of users in our Early Adopter Program (EAP). During this time, we will review and implement participant feedback in preparation for a wider release.
In an upcoming release, we will add features to help you track and manage your fixed assets, such as buildings, land, computer equipment, furniture, etc.
You can currently view, add, edit, and delete budgets. We will release more budget features soon, including the ability to adjust amounts. Let us know what you think in the Community!
You can currently validate and post the Payables, Cash receipts, and Cash management subledgers. Additional subledgers will be added for posting in future releases.
When you post the Payables and Cash receipts subledgers, you select post parameters to use from the database view. The ability to select parameters from the web view will be added in a future release.
