To assign a CMS administrative role to a person:

  1. Select a folder in Website Explorer, and click the Folder Permissions button (yellow key) in the Website Explorer toolbar. The Folder Permissions pane displays.

  2. Select Grant permission to a <person>.

  3. In the Search text box, type part or all of a first or last name or email address. Use an asterisk * to display all available users (contacts in Constituent360 who belong to an administrative group that has access to CMS).

  4. Click Search. The Add Permissions to Folder pane displays users matching your search.

Note: If the person you want does not appear in search results, modify your criteria and try again, or return to the Folder Permissions pane and click the refresh user and group information link. If this still doesn't work, contact your Website Administrator or Support.

  1. Click Change in the Action column for the appropriate person. The Change Permissions pane displays.

  2. Select the folder-level administrative role to assign: Author or Manager. To apply the new role and permissions recursively to all sub-folders in this folder, select the checkbox Also change permissions to sub-folders and components.

  3. Click Change. The person is added as an administrator for this folder.
