When you work with a list of giving, you can select Filters to view and manage only gifts that meet specific criteria, such as to analyze the fundraising effectiveness of an appeal. To include gifts based on the acknowledgement or receipt sent to the donor, select Acknowledgements & receipts. After you select the criteria of the gifts to include, select Apply filters.
To thank the donor for a gift, you should send an acknowledgement letter to recognize their generosity. Under Acknowledgements, choose the acknowledgement details of the gifts to include.

To help the donor track the charitable giving for tax purposes, you should provide a receipt for the gift. Under Receipts, choose the receipt details of the gifts to include.
