To help track the completion of tasks and interactions, fundraisers update an action's status to indicate its progress and when it's done. From Fundraising, Analyze, Actions, you can compare how many actions — based on the filters —are open, marked as complete, or past their due dates under Actions by status.
With the Completed amount, you can view how many actions are marked as complete. Nice work! To continue to cultivate relationships with the constituents, we recommend you plan follow-up actions as necessary.
With the Past due amount, you can view how many actions are past their due date and not marked as complete. To keep constituents engaged, determine why these tasks or interactions stalled out and prioritize their completion.
Tip: To view a list of actions with a specific status, select its bar in the chart. For further analysis, select Create list to open the list in Lists, where you can apply additional filters, choose columns, and save for future reuse. For more information, see Lists.
Note: The Actions by status metric tracks actions by their default completion statuses. To better match your workflow, your organization can also use custom status codes to track actions. For more information, see Action Statuses.
