Campaign Analysis for Funds or Appeals

Funds and appeals can help direct gifts toward specific campaigns, which represent your overall fundraising efforts or initiatives. For example, a capital campaign for a new building may use separate funds for its design, construction, and landscaping and appeals to ask for gifts for each cause or the overall initiative. To compare the effectiveness of your fundraising efforts, you can view how much each fund or appeal acquired for your campaigns in Fundraising, Analyze or Reporting.

Tip: With the Revenue type filter, you can choose whether to analyze revenue received through cash-in-hand giving or committed through pledges and matching gifts. For more information, see Revenue and Recognition.

Tip: To view a list of gifts toward a campaign, select its bar in the chart. For further analysis, select Create list to open the list in Lists, where you can apply additional filters, choose columns, and save for future reuse. For more information, see Lists.
