When you work with a list of constituents, you can select Filters to view and manage only those that meet specific criteria, such as to fine-tune recipients of a communication or analyze wealth ratings. To include constituents based on their giving history to your organization, select Giving. After you select the criteria of the gifts to include, select Apply filters.
To include constituents based on how much they gave, choose the type of giving — including soft credits — and sum amount — such as Greater than or equal to $1,000 — to include.
Total giving — How much the donors gave overall. If you select this option, choose whether to include soft credits.
First gift — How much the donors gave or was recognized for in their initial gift or soft credit
Greatest gift — How much the donors gave or was recognized for in their largest gift or soft credit
Latest gift — How much the donors gave or was recognized for in their most recent gift or soft credit
Any gift — How much the donors gave or was recognized for in a single gift or soft credit. If you select this option, choose whether to include soft credits.
Note: If you select Between and enter only the first amount, the list includes constituents with giving greater than equal to that amount. If you enter only the second amount, those who gave less than or equal to that amount appear.
Under Within this period, choose the dates of the gifts to include, such as This calendar year or Last 90 days.
Note: If you select Specific range and enter only the first date, the list includes records from that date or after. If you enter only the second date, those from that date or earlier appear.
Under Given or in response to, select Campaign or Fund to choose the fundraising efforts the gifts are given toward, or Appeals for the solicitations they're given in response to.
To choose from campaigns, funds, or appeals marked as inactive, select Show inactive.
Tip: In the database view, you can mark a campaign, fund, or appeal as inactive from the General tab of its record.
To quickly view the fundraising efforts you chose, select Only show selected items.
Tip: If you select multiple campaigns or funds as filters, you include gifts given toward any of them, not split between the campaigns or funds.
Tip: If you filter by first, latest, greatest, or any gift and specific campaigns or funds, you include gifts of the amount specified given toward any of the fundraising efforts, not the split amount toward the campaigns or funds.
