When you work with a list of giving, you can select Filters to view and manage only gifts that meet specific criteria, such as to analyze the fundraising effectiveness of an appeal. After you select the criteria of the gifts to include, select Apply filters.
To include gifts based on details such as amounts, dates, fundraiser, or payment method, select Gift basics. For more information, see Gift Basics Filters.
To include only gifts given toward specific campaigns or funds, or in response to specific appeals, select Campaigns, funds, & appeals.
Tip: If you select multiple campaigns or funds as filters, you include gifts given toward any of them, not split between the campaigns or funds.
To filter by campaigns, select Campaign, choose the campaigns to include, and select Select.
To filter by funds, select Fund, choose the funds to include, and select Select.
To filter by appeals, select Appeal, choose the appeals to include, and select Select.
To help verify you choose the correct campaigns, funds, or appeals:
Select Show inactive to choose from those marked as inactive.
Tip: In the database view, you can mark a campaign, fund, or appeal as inactive from the General tab of its record.
Select Only show selected items to quickly view those you already chose.
Note: To remove a campaign, fund, or appeal as a filter, select its X.
To choose which types of gifts — or, in Fundraising, Work, soft credits — to include, such as one-time gifts and pledges, select Gift types.
To include only pledges with installments past their due dates, select Only show overdue pledges.
To exclude soft credits from the Gifts list in Fundraising, Work, select Hide soft credits.
To quickly view the gift types you chose, select Only show selected items.
For detailed information about these options, see Gift Types.
To include gifts based on the acknowledgement or receipt sent to the donor, select Acknowledgements & receipts. For more information, see Acknowledgement and Receipt Filters.
These filters are cumulative, so imagine an "and" between each. For example, if you specify both a gift type and a campaign, you can create a list of one-time gifts toward the campaign, not a list of gifts that are either one-time gifts or toward the campaign.
Tip: To remove the filters and include all gifts, select Filters and then Clear all filters.
