From Lists, users can create and manage lists of records, such as to analyze fundraising effectiveness or refine recipients for an appeal or mailing. Under List rights on the record of a security group, system admins can view and choose whether its members can access Lists — and if so, which types of lists.
From Control Panel, select Security.
Under Security groups, select the name of the group.
Under List rights, select Edit rights.
Choose whether the group's members can access Lists. If so:
Choose which types of lists the members can work with.
To enable members to export a list as a comma-separated values (CSV) file, select Export lists.
Tip: To help protect and control your constituents' personal data, we recommend you enable only appropriate people to export from Raiser's Edge NXT.
Tip: Be patient. It may take up to five minutes for security changes in Control Panel or the database view to take effect.
Tip: In the database view, you can set record-level security — such as by fund or constituent code — to further limit which information the group's members can access. For more information, see Record Security.
