Many corporations — around 65% of Fortune 500 companies — offer matching gift programs, where they match employees' donations to eligible nonprofits. With matching gifts, your organization can maximize your constituents' giving with essentially free additional donations.
Tip: OK, nothing's totally free. To get the most out of matching gifts requires some extra legwork. For examples and recommendations, see Matching Gifts Best Practices.

Note: In the database view, you manage matching gifts and matching gift pledges from Gifts. From a constituent's record, you can select whether an organization relationship matches their gifts and at what percentage. You can also set business rules to automatically credit constituents for matching gifts received due to their giving.
