Online Ask Amounts

To help determine how much to solicit a constituent through an online donation form, Target Analytics uses advanced predictive analytics to provide a suggested range of low, medium, and high ask amounts — such as $25-$50-$75 or $100-$150-$250 — based on their giving to other organizations. With this analysis, you can:

  • Create online donation forms based on the suggested ask amount ranges and include them in targeted appeals

  • Identify donors with a capacity for increased online donations, based on their giving to other organizations

Tip: To help ensure Target Analytics can suggest ask amounts, verify your constituent records have complete and accurate names — including any suffixes — and primary mailing addresses.

To view the suggested online ask amounts for a list of constituents, select Choose columns , Online ask amount, and Apply changes. If a constituent has no suggested ask amount, 'No amount assigned' appears in the column. Target Analytics may not provide an online ask amount for a constituent if:

  • Their record is new and not yet scored.

  • Their primary address is outside of the United States.

  • Their record has insufficient or incorrect name or address information.

Tip: To include constituents in a list based on their suggested ask amounts, select Choose filters , Online ask amount and select Apply changes. At the top of the list, select Online ask amount and choose the amounts to include.

Note: To further refine your lists, you can also use the Low online ask amount, Mid online ask amount, and High online ask amount columns and filters.
