With the Raiser's Edge NXT for Outlook add-in, you can view a snapshot of constituent details about email senders and recipients and create actions from their messages within Microsoft Outlook.
From an email message, you can quickly review constituent information about the sender or recipient, including their name, contact information, and key details.
Prospect status — With Prospect Research Management, where the constituent is in your moves management process (if at all). For more details, see Prospect Status.
Latest gift and Lifetime giving — The most recent gift and total amount received from the constituent. For details on giving, see Constituent Giving.
Last action — The most recent interaction with the constituent. For details on interactions, see Actions.
Tip: To open the constituent’s record in Raiser’s Edge NXT, select their name or key details. To view the constituent’s address in Google Maps or call them on your device, select their contact information.
To add an action to the constituent record from the add-in, select the action type and date, add notes, and then select Add action. When you save an action, it automatically:
Tracks the interaction as an email, completed on the date you create the action
Includes the email content as a note on the action
Tracks the direction of the interaction — inbound or outbound — based on whether the constituent sent or received the email.
You can edit these details as necessary. If multiple constituents share an email address, you can choose who to apply the action to.
To help manage interactions with your constituents, you can use multiple databases with the Raiser's Edge NXT for Outlook add-in. To use the add-in with a database, select the name of the current database and choose which to connect to.
