As Raiser's Edge NXT evolves, it introduces new and enhanced general features on a frequent basis. In case you need to catch up on what you missed or just want a refresher, here's a recap of what was previously released.
Easier readability with new fonts and colors — Notice anything different? To help ease readability and improve accessibility, Raiser's Edge NXT now uses new fonts and colors with increased size and contrast!--
Go to other products from Raiser's Edge NXT — If you use multiple Blackbaud products that support Blackbaud ID, such as both Raiser's Edge NXT and Financial Edge NXT, you now select the menu — not the product name, as before — in the far left of the navigation to switch between them. With your Blackbaud ID, you automatically open the chosen product, no extra sign-in required!
Note: In the future, you'll be able to quickly navigate to other services and resources from this menu as well.
Copy others on your scheduled PDFs of Analyze tabs — In Fundraising, Analyze, you can choose to receive a PDF of a tab's metrics as an email — at the address used with your Blackbaud ID — at regular intervals, such as to track and compare fundraising effectiveness over time. To easily share your analysis with others, you can now copy additional recipients on your email.
Select Schedule emailing of this dashboard.
Choose which Analyze tabs to include in the PDF — all, or just the current tab.
Choose when to receive the PDF.
Select Add recipients or define custom subject and message.
In the Send a copy to field, enter the email addresses of the recipients, separated by commas.
For more information, see PDFs of Analyze Metrics.
Note: Don’t see this feature? You can only schedule a PDF of an Analyze tab from your desktop, not on mobile.
Quicker refresh of metrics — To help ensure timely analysis, the metrics in Fundraising, Analyze and on the records of campaigns, funds, and appeals now update with new or edited information at intervals of two to three hours. Previously, it could take up to six hours for metrics to update. For more information, see Database-to-Web View Refresh Rates.
Find constituents and manage resources from one location — To ease navigation, you can now search for constituents and manage multiple resources from where you also access feature areas within Raiser's Edge NXT.
If you use multiple Blackbaud products that support Blackbaud ID, you can seamlessly switch between them and Raiser's Edge NXT.
To search for a constituent, select Search , and then choose a recently-accessed record or enter the criteria of who to find. For more information, see Search for Constituents.
To access the database view or use another database, select Database .
If you use multiple databases, choose which one to use.
To access the database view, select Open database view. For more information, see Database View.

Avoid overwriting someone else's changes to a saved list — In Lists, multiple people can work in a list at the same time. When you save changes to a list and they conflict with someone else's saved changes to the same list, you can now choose whether to save or discard your changes.
To save your changes but not overwrite the other person's, select Save as new to create a new list.
To save your changes to the current list in place of the other person's, select Overwrite.
To keep the other person's changes in place of yours, select Discard.
To temporarily keep your changes and not save them to the list, select Cancel.
For more information, see Lists.
Open records in Raiser's Edge NXT from an exported list — To use a list with a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for analysis or offline reference, you can download its information as a comma-separated values (CSV) file. To open a record in Raiser's Edge NXT from an exported list, you can now select Open in NXT in the View record column for its row in the spreadsheet created from the CSV file. For more information, see Lists.
