As Raiser's Edge NXT evolves, it introduces new and enhanced general features on a frequent basis. In case you need to catch up on what you missed or just want a refresher, here's a recap of what was previously released.
Export a list as a CSV file — To use a list in Lists or Fundraising, Work in a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for analysis or offline reference, you can now download its information as a comma-separated values (CSV) file. To download a list as a CSV file, select Export and then — when the export completes — Download file. For more information, see Lists.
Tip: A CSV file is simply a snapshot of a single moment in time. For the current and most accurate information, refer to the lists directly in Raiser's Edge NXT on your desktop or mobile device.

To save your edits to the open list, select Save, Changes to this list.
To create a copy of the list to start a new one, select Save, As a new list.

Use two-step authentication with your Blackbaud ID and Google — If you sign in to Raiser's Edge NXT through Google authentication, you can now use two-step authentication with your Blackbaud ID for an extra layer of security. Two-step authentication enables your Blackbaud ID to require a unique verification code — received on your personal device — in addition to your email address and password. To use two-step authentication, visit your Blackbaud ID profile and select Turn on under Two-step authentication. (Previously, only Blackbaud IDs that signed in through Blackbaud’s secure service could use two-step authentication.)
Enter descriptions for saved lists — To help explain the intent of a list or which filters are selected, you can now save a description — up to 250 characters — when you save a list for use in the web view. Previously, you could save descriptions only for lists saved as static queries or query lists for use in the database view. For more information, see Lists.
Add attachments with dates — To maintain accurate details about the files and links you attach to records, you can now select a date — such as when you receive them — when you add attachments. Previously, you could only select dates when you edited attachments. For more information, see Attachments.
Sign in quickly — To sign into Raiser's Edge NXT, you can now use a new, streamlined login. From here, you can sign in — including through Google — and manage your password as you always have. As before, you'll also use this same login and account to access other Blackbaud resources like the Community.
Start rolling as soon as you sign in — When you sign in, you now start from Work Center or Home so you can quickly take action.
If you're an active fundraiser, you start from your Work Center, where you can manage your portfolio of relationships and assignments.
If you're not a fundraiser, you start from Home, where you can catch up on the latest news and happenings.

Admins! From Control Panel, Applications, you can now browse applications under Available apps, similar to Apple App Store or Google Play on your mobile device. To use an app with your organization, select Connect. For more information, see Applications.
Tip: Before you connect to applications from Blackbaud Partners under Available apps, first contact the developer and set up a relationship with them. Only connect with apps you're familiar with and authorize to access your organization’s data.

Under Recently accessed, you can also quickly revisit constituent records. From Home, you can easily stay current with everything Raiser's Edge NXT and your active relationships.
Share a saved list with others — To share a list with someone at your organization, you can now send them a link. Simply save the list, select Share and then Copy, and paste its link into an email or message to the person. Unlike a hard-copy print-out of a list, the shared link ensures the recipient is up-to-date with the records that meet the filter criteria. For more information, see Lists.
Note: A list may include different records or details for the recipient, based on their security rights.
View the selections for a list filter — Some list filters — such as by campaign, constituent code, or fundraiser — offer many items to choose from. To view what you chose for a filter, such as to confirm you didn't miss anything, you can now select Only show selected items when you select its criteria. For more information, see Lists.
