Approve & Deny Infractions

Conduct managers can approve or deny infractions, along with the consequences or comments associated with them.

Any changes made save automatically.

  1. In the persona menu, select Academics.

  2. On Home, under Items to review, select a number under Infractions.

    Note: Managers can also navigate to Conduct in the top menu and select Approval.

  3. Use the Review infractions filter options to search for students with pending infractions.

    Note: By default, the results are filtered to only include infractions from the past 7 days. If you are not seeing any pending infractions on this page, it might be because the infractions were reported outside of the time frame. Try modifying the dates to see if infractions appear.

  4. Select the name of a student to view infraction details.

  5. Review the student's Behavior history to help make decisions.

  6. Infractions for accumulated tardies and absences will appear under Review Infraction. They will only appear for schools that use Attendance rules for imposing infractions.

  7. Edit information as needed.

    • View or edit the infraction Description

    • Add or delete Consequences

    • Add any internal Confidential comments or Additional notes

    • Review the infraction Points or Location

    • Update Access if necessary. You can select whether users will be able to see the infraction and whether they will receive an email about it.

  8. Make a selection:

    • Approve, Assign, and Send to approve the infraction and consequence(s).

    • Delete infraction to delete the record entirely.

    • Deny infraction to deny the infraction, but save the record in the system.

    • Keep as pending to take no action and keep the record.
