Advisory Master Rollover

Advisories can be rolled over from year to year. Before you can perform the master rollover, the advisory terms for the next year must be entered.

  1. Select Core.

  2. Select System tools.

  3. Select Master rollover.

  4. Select the year from which you are copying the data, and then select the year to which you are adding the data.

  5. Select View.

  6. Under advisory groups, select Run next to the appropriate school level.

  7. Choose the specific checkboxes next to the sections you want to roll over, or select Check all.

  8. Select Next.

  9. Choose the specific checkboxes next to each element you want to roll over:

    • Identifiers: rolls over the section identifiers.

    • Advisors: rolls over the section advisors.

    • Advisees: rolls over the students enrolled in the advisory.

    • Blocks: rolls over the blocks with which the sections are associated.

    • Schedules: rolls over the schedules with which the sections are associated.

    • Rooms: rolls over the rooms with which the sections are associated.

    • Advisory page settings: rolls over and uses the date you're rolling over as the access date for group page access. If needed, you can select a different date from group page access.

  10. Select Save & exit.
