Approve Community Groups

If enabled, constituents can propose ideas for new community groups. Community group managers can then approve or decline the request. For more information on enabling group proposals, see our help topic Propose Community Group.

Approve/decline a community group

  1. Under Extracurricular, selectCommunity groups followed by Group management.

  2. Select Approve Community Group.

  3. Under New Requests, click Review next to the community group you wish to approve or decline.

  4. Make the necessary changes to the group.

  5. Select Approve or Decline.

  6. Use the optional Comments field to enter notes that will appear to the user who proposed the group.

  7. Select Save & Exit when you're done.

Note: If the community group is approved, the user who proposed the group automatically becomes the group leader.
