Reporting

Reporting is where you create and run reports in Financial Edge NXT. Reporting leverages existing reports and settings defined in the database view. For example, the reports and tags you created in the database view, also appear in Financial Edge NXT.

You can reorder the columns in the Reports list by dragging and dropping the column headers. To change the column headers, click Choose columns, select what to include, and click Apply changes. To quickly locate the report you want, use the search field and filters. For information about these filters, see Report Filters.

Tip: To export the list to an Excel .XLSX file, select Export to Excel.

Use the tabs in Reporting to efficiently manage your reports. All of your existing reports appear on the All reports tab.

  • All reports — This tab displays all reports in the system, regardless of who created them.

  • Recently run — This tab displays the reports run in the last 31 days by the logged in user. Reports on this tab are updated only when that user runs the reports in Financial Edge NXT.

  • Frequently run — This tab displays the reports run at least four times in the last 31 days by the logged in user. Reports on this tab are updated only when that user runs the reports in Financial Edge NXT.

  • Favorites — This tab displays the reports marked as favorites by the logged in user. To mark a report as a favorite, select next to the report name, then Add to favorites. A star appears next to reports marked as favorites.

Note: The "Last run" date is the most recent date that any user ran the report. The same Last run date in Financial Edge NXT also appears in the database view.
