Declarations
For your organisation to claim Gift Aid on behalf of a donor, the donor must make a declaration. The declaration is permission the donor can give you to receive reimbursement of their tax.
Declarations can be added:

When a donor gives through a Blackbaud Donation Form. For more information, see Donation Form Gift Aid.

From a constituent record, under Declarations.

When you add a gift from the constituent record, Home, or Gift management.
When a donor has multiple active declarations, they must end prior to adding a new declaration. On a constituent record, under Declarations, you can edit and delete declarations.
Tip: If a donor has one active declaration when you enter another declaration, the previous declaration automatically ends.
