ResearchPoint and Raiser's Edge Integration
To improve how you research prospects and develop a more well rounded view of your constituents, we overhauled the ResearchPoint and Raiser's Edge integration. The new integration uses Blackbaud Web Services to connect to data endpoints in ResearchPoint and Raiser's Edge's databases, which gives us greater access and flexibility when the two solutions sync. The previous technology method for integration was not robust enough to handle the increased requirements you asked of us.
Therefore, based on your feedback we researched and implemented an integration solution that can grow with your needs over time.
Are you ready to get started?
There are a few basic requirements for you to use the new integration:

The Raiser's Edge needs to be on version 7.92 patch 5 or higher. We require this minimum version, because the 7.92 patch 5 release of The Raiser's Edge has the version of Blackbaud Web Services integrated that we use.

For the optimum integration experience, we recommend The Raiser's Edge optional module RE: Search.

Access to the workstation or server where your Raiser's Edge database lives. When you configure the integration, you need to know the RE database key and serial number.

Your hosted ResearchPoint must be upgraded to version 3.17 (August 2014 release) or higher.
