Two-thirds of Canadians have given a charitable gift, and the percentage of those who give generally rises with age. Nearly one-third of all donations in Canada come from baby boomer donors. More than half of older donors say that monetary donations are the best way to make a difference, whereas younger millennial donors believe they can make the greatest difference by volunteering. Over three-fourths of Canadians support multiple organizations.
