You may have heard us use the terms total web solution and unified view in recent conversations about Raiser’s Edge NXT. While both represent the future of the platform, going forward, we’ll use the term unified view more often as it better reflects our vision of providing a seamless, intuitive workspace where you can manage all of your work in one place.

We announced in the May 2025 Raiser’s Edge NXT Product Update Briefing that we intend to have a Total Web Solution by December 2025. All critical end-to-end workflows will be in web view by the end of 2025. We also announced that the completion of advanced administrative tools will be in the unified view by the end of 2026. You should no longer need to rely on database view for anything by the end of 2026. We’ll also introduce a lot of additional innovations and usability enhancements over the same time frame.

Our current intention is that, by December 2026, you will be able to utilize a single web view experience, the Total Web Solution (TWS), for your workflows and not be required to use database view or Citrix.

During our recent Raiser’s Edge NXT Product Update Briefings, we emphasized the importance of beginning your transition to web view features now. Early preparation will support a smoother experience for your team and reduce disruptions as tools like Query move exclusively to web view.

With all critical end-to-end work flows and administrative tools expected to be available in the unified view by the end of 2026, we will begin to transition all customers to web view in the first half of 2027.

Yes! Save the date for bbcon Philadelphia. We will be offering in person Blackbaud University trainings, dozens of sessions on Raiser’s Edge NXT, live demos by Raiser’s Edge NXT product experts—all exploring new features, workflows, and timelines for transformation. You will soon be able to view the in-person session lineup and Blackbaud University Day course details at bbcon. A subset of sessions will be streamed for remote attendees; the virtual session lineup will also be posted soon.
