User Groups
Interested in meeting your fellow Blackbaud users? Want to find out how other organizations overcame the same challenges you're currently facing? Blackbaud user groups are networking and educational forums designed just for you. User groups provide the opportunity to learn and share knowledge and experience with us and other nonprofit professionals in your community.

Here is a typical user group agenda:
9:00 AM — Morning Presentation
Ideal for all levels of nonprofit professionals, a Blackbaud software expert will offer exciting new ways to steer your organization to higher levels of success — as well as provide valuable information on everyday use of the software, such as:
- Using The Raiser’s Edge to Reach Out to Your Constituents
- Internet Strategies
- Customization and Flexibility in The Financial Edge
- Improving School-Wide Efficiency
- Cleaning Up Your Database
11:00 AM — Roundtable Discussions
This session allows you to meet other users in your area who perform the same day-to-day functions that you do. Use this time to find answers from those around you to questions or issues that you are facing. Some examples of how groups can be broken out:
- Database Administrators, Data Managers, IT members
- Executives and Directors
- Administrative/Executive Assistants
- Annual Giving Managers, Special Programs Managers such as Events, Volunteer, Member, Alumni Directors
- Development or Business Office Coordinators/Associates
12:00 PM — Lunch
Lunch is a great time for socializing and networking with your peers. Food and drinks provided!
1:30 PM — Networking Breakouts by Organization Type
This session allows you to meet other users in your area who work for a similar type of organization. Use this time to network and exchange ideas relating to common issues or challenges that your organization may encounter — regardless of whether they concern Blackbaud Solutions or other specific functions. Some examples of how groups can be broken out:
- Healthcare Foundations, Organizations, Hospices, or if your organization focuses on providing health services or assistance
- Human and Social Service Organizations, Support Groups, and other community services organizations
- Universities and Higher Education Foundations
- Cultural and Performing Arts Organizations, Museums, Zoos and Aquariums, and Athletic Venues
