K-12 Advisory Board

David Moeckler has spent over 20 years working with Blackbaud’s K-12 product solutions including Financial Edge / Raiser’s Edge, Admissions / Registrar’s Office, Academy Manager, Education Edge, the OnSuite platform, School Website and now Education Management, Core, Financial Aid Management, Tuition Management and the NXT platform.  His depth and breadth of experience is rooted in learning the day-to-day processes and strategic goals behind each department including how they connect to other departments, and using that knowledge to help transition to, and maximize the use of, Blackbaud products.

Mr. Moeckler joined Pressman Academy in 2021 as Director of Finance, where he helped facilitate the organization’s implementation of Blackbaud solutions.  Prior to joining Pressman, David worked at Solomon Schechter Day School of Metropolitan Chicago for over 19 years, serving in roles ranging from Director of Technology to Chief Operating Officer.  From implementation to troubleshooting, upgrades and adaptations, Mr. Moeckler has been deeply involved in Blackbaud’s K-12 product line.  The common thread that runs through all of those years and experiences has been the partnership with Blackbaud – and specifically the great relationships that have been built over those years.

Mr. Moeckler lives in Los Angeles with his wife, 2 daughters and their chocolate lab puppy, Bear.  Apart from spending time with family, he is an avid Deadhead, and loves to tinker, fix and build whatever comes his way.
