Paul Tidmore focuses his days on a student-centric commitment to advancing teaching and learning in a modern tech environment. Entering his 30th year at Parish, Tidmore has seen the school grow in its technological uses, from chairing the computer science department to supervising the director of libraries and registrar to overseeing Blackbaud Education Management products that are faculty-, student- and parent-facing. In addition to Education Management, he also works closely with the business and advancement offices to help facilitate their usage of Financial Edge NXT and Raiser’s Edge NXT.
As a member of Parish’s senior administration team, he works closely with school leadership to plan for and propel Parish’s technology standards. He leads faculty and staff in professional development, and educates parents, students and peers at various conferences on a wide variety of ed-tech related topics including social media and generative AI.
Tidmore holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Education from Baylor University. He is married with two sons, both Parish Alumni. When not researching and teaching on the latest technology trends and advancements in education, you can find Tidmore listening to and playing music; coaching baseball; and hiking and running on trails and in the mountains, including completing 19 100-mile races such as Hardrock, Leadville and Western States.
