Blackbaud Recognizes National Hispanic Heritage Month

National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed annually from September 15 through October 15 and recognizes the histories, cultures, and contributions of people with Hispanic and Latin American heritage. The observance coincides with the independence anniversaries of several Latin American countries and provides an opportunity to learn more about the stories, experiences, and contributions that continue to shape communities around the world. 

At Blackbaud, National Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to learn from one another and celebrate the rich cultures and contributions of people with Hispanic and Latin American heritage. 

As part of the company’s observance, employees are invited to participate in a virtual volunteer activity that supports children’s learning. During the event, volunteers will work together to create educational activity books that help children explore Hispanic and Latin American people, stories, and contributions through interactive and engaging activities. 

The activity books will include content such as word searches, matching exercises, comprehension activities, picture construction, and puzzles designed to make learning about Hispanic and Latin American heritage both accessible and enjoyable for young learners.
