Company Demonstrates Game-Changing Innovation in Technology Services

Charleston, S.C. (May 22, 2014) — Blackbaud, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLKB) today announced it has been named winner of the 2014 Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) Vision Award in the Service Practitioner category. The award was announced May 7 at the Technology Services World (TSW) conference in Santa Clara, California.

“We’re honored to receive this award and to be recognized for our dedication in customer service,” said Brad May, Blackbaud’s vice president of professional services. “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and we work hard to empower them so they are able to successfully fulfill their missions.”

This was TSIA’s fifth annual Service Revolutions competition, featuring a series of on-stage demonstrations revealing the latest innovations in technology services – from cutting-edge services new to the market, start-ups with innovative service models, the newest advances in service technology, to the latest breakthroughs from the emerging world of service science.

Finalists in the Service Revolutions competition were in the running to win TSIA’s coveted Vision Award, with winners being determined by a live audience of industry practitioners along with a panel of expert judges. The categories for Service Revolutions 2014 included (1) Commercial, (2) Start-up, and (3) Service Practitioner.

“Since our inaugural competition that took place in 2010, Service Revolutions has become renowned for its exciting and innovative format, whereby the audience gets a firsthand look at some of the latest innovations in tech services,” said J.B. Wood, president and CEO of TSIA. “With ‘Extreme Efficiency’ being the TSW conference theme this spring, we are proud to recognize Blackbaud for its dedication toward optimizing efficiencies and providing breakthrough revolutions in tech.”
