Ever wonder how other nonprofits are faring during these uncertain times? Have most kept their donors or had success with new outreach strategies?
To find out, we asked over 1,500 respondents to share their management strategies as well as changes they anticipate in the future. Conducted annually since 2004, the State of the Nonprofit Industry Survey reached out to nonprofit professionals in nine countries – Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and the United States – providing a barometer for the sector’s success and optimism. Challenged with an increased demand for services, yet having stagnant funding streams, nonprofits are tasked to retain current donors as well as explore interactive technologies to attract new donors.
We looked at these challenges, fundraising trends and use of mobile technologies to compile a broad view of the industry. Specifically, the report provides a deeper look at staff recruitment, new donor attainment and retention, fundraising trends, online giving and use of mobile technology.
